Mr Mitra Ramkumar, President, THAG and Ms Carla James, Director, Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Hon. Minister Oneidge Waldrond, Ministry of Tourism Industry and Commerce will deliver their brief remarks in honour of the occasion.
Though our menus prices will remain unchanged- two (2) course lunch menus at GY$3000 (VAT Inclusive) and three (3) course dinner menus at GY $5,000 or GY $6,000 (VAT Inclusive), there will be other adjustments to the hosting of the event. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, patrons are encouraged to follow the protocols outlined to keep us safe.
GRW will ONLY offer outdoor dining, pick and delivery options to our patrons. All fifteen (15) restaurants have committed to adhering to the Gazette Order of October 31, 2020, to protect staff and patrons alike.
To facilitate the timely delivery of GRW Menus, the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana has engaged the services of two logistic service providers – Hero Cart and Onecart. Their details are on the Guyana Restaurant Week website. Furthermore, some restaurants have maintained their service providers to facilitate the delivery of menus.
Each year we reinforce our commitment to environmental protection. As a demonstration of the restaurants’ commitment to going green, each location will adopt no less than three of the green initiatives. We encourage all patrons to support this initiative by being responsible and properly disposing of your used packages.
