Last year, THAG embarked on our first Christmas Toy Drive, an initiative to deliver holiday joy to children residing in rural areas within the operational reach of our members.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support extended by our members, whose generous contributions made this endeavour possible.

Our areas of focus were Red Village, Essequibo Coast; Fairview Village; Fort Island; Byderabo, Bartica; Karrau; and Batavia. The efforts of the secretariat staff, in collaboration with dedicated THAG members, ensured the successful delivery of a variety of items to these communities. These included an assortment of toys, numerous books, and engaging board games, all carefully selected to bring smiles to the faces of the children.

This initiative holds significant importance to us, as we recognize the profound impact it has on the development and well-being of the communities we serve.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both THAG members and non-members alike, whose contributions of time, financial support, and donated items breathed life into this meaningful initiative.
