𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 & 𝐀𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | The Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana hosted its annual President's Awards Dinner & Auction on Saturday, June 21, at the Guyana Marriott Hotel.

This year’s theme, "Guyana in Bloom: 25 Years of Discovery – Telling Our Story Through the Pages of Explore Guyana," reflected the milestone launch of the 25th edition of Explore Guyana magazine and the unveiling of our revamped website. www.exploreguyana.org

The evening featured a keynote address by Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Anthony Phillips, who spoke on the ongoing growth and transformation of the tourism and hospitality sector.

Guests were treated to a vibrant cocktail hour with live violin music by Anelys, creating the perfect ambiance for networking and celebration. The ceremony was expertly hosted by Mr. Russell Lancaster, our Master of Ceremonies for the night.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding members of our industry—individuals and businesses who continue to elevate the standard of tourism in Guyana. Awardees were voted for by their peers, and in some categories, by the public. This year, THAG introduced two new awards: Customer Service Excellence Award, and Tourism Impact Award for Culture, Sport & Entertainment.
