On June 27th, 2025, the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) hosted its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Herdmanston Lodge, where members elected the Executive Committee for the 2025–2026 term.

We are pleased to announce the newly elected leadership:

• President – Mr. Mitra Ramkumar
  
• Vice President – Mrs. Carla Vantull
  
• Treasurer – Mr. Lorenzo Persaud
  
• Committee Members – Mr. Malcolm Rhodius, Mrs. Abigail Ally, Mr. Paul Waldron, and Mr. Yonnick David
  

In his address, President Ramkumar reaffirmed his commitment to building on the strong foundation laid by the outgoing Executive, emphasizing the importance of member engagement and collaboration as THAG advances its mission.

A highlight of the AGM was the presentation of a token of appreciation to Mrs. Dee George, Immediate Past President (IPP), by Mr. Kamrul Baksh, Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority, in recognition of her dedicated service.

THAG looks forward to another year of growth, innovation, and partnership under the guidance of its new leadership team.
