Series 4 of THAG Talks focused on Crisis Management in Tourism & Hospitality, a topic that has become increasingly urgent in recent times. From guest care to behind-the-scenes preparedness, ensuring the safety and confidence of our visitors must remain a top priority.This session explores how we respond, recover, and reassure in the face of crisis, emphasizing that many emergencies can be mitigated—or even avoided—through proactive planning and preparedness. Maintaining high standards of customer service, even during challenging moments, is essential for the resilience of our industry.

The third edition of THAG Talks, in partnership with Recycle Organics, focused on Organic Waste Management in the Hospitality Industry. Moderated by HSEQ Committee Head, Paul Waldron, the session explored how businesses can implement composting and sustainability practices to improve efficiency and reduce their environmental impact. Experts highlighted real-life success stories, including how hospitality facilities in the Caribbean have integrated composting into their operations.

This session was designed to address the growing need among THAG members to understand and prepare for business risks effectively. Guest speaker Ms. Latoya Jack, a risk management expert and owner of Kronoco Safety Solutions, shared her insights on identifying risks within businesses. Drawing from her extensive experience, she emphasized the importance of recognizing risks early and implementing a structured risk management framework.

This inaugural session explores how AI agents can be utilized to streamline and revitalize the industry. The guest speaker discussed the transformative potential of AI, highlighting its role in enhancing customer experiences, optimizing operations, and driving innovation within the hospitality sector.
